But after returning home, something unexpected happened. The same waves that once fueled my inspiration seemed to quiet. The rhythm of life at home felt foreign, and even with thousands of photos and videos waiting to be shared, I found it hard to hit “publish.” Maybe it was the sheer scope of the adventure – how do you capture an experience that big? Or maybe, like any good journey, I just needed time to let it sink in before telling the story right.

Finding Home in the Texas Hill Country

Since then, life has shifted in big and beautiful ways. We’ve traded the bustle of the Houston area for the rolling hills, rivers, and quiet sunsets of the Texas Hill Country. The change of pace – and scenery – has been grounding and rejuvenating.

What’s New (and What’s Next)

These days, our adventure takes a slightly different form. I’ve been channeling creative energy into building a new venture—a publishing company that’s now home to several books in development. It’s been both a learning curve and a dream come true, combining my love of writing, design, and storytelling into something that can inspire others.
